good things happened today

1. i slept in
2. i received a half tuition scholarship that i can apply to the study abroad!!
3. i went to the gym
4. i caved and bought some wonderful high-waisted shorts. so in.
5. i ate a chick-fil-a sandwich
6. i got a library card that is labeled "imagination passport"

so i just applied for the sp/su study abroad in vienna. it is past the deadline and i haven't paid the application fee but i have a good feeling about it. plz accept me, vienna.

wait a second...what the? its $8,000. EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS. there is no way i can afford that. you know, i could buy a car for that much money. i could afford college tuition for 2 years. i could probably adopt a child. heavens! alright i just need to relax. and breathe. and live my life with less regard for monetary concerns. i have been fiscally responsible for 20 years now and it is NOT fulfilling. i will never look back on those summers spent at home, severely depressed and alone, and think "gee, i sure am glad i wasted a whole summer working my ace off so i could have that couple extra thousand dollars. good thing i didn't spend the summer in vienna absorbing the history and culture and art and music and language of that exquisite city. good thinkin aubrey"

yeah yeah yeah. let me go. let me throw my entire savings away in 3 months. let me be in debt for an additional 3 years. i'm ready for it.
