an apology is in order. i realize now the error of my ways and i cannot forgive myself for what i have done to you. for the past eight months of our relationship you have been the generous giver and i have been the taker. even through your apparent sickness, your old age, and obvious physical ailments due to my neglect, you have been the staple of my traveling existnece- and for that i am eternally indebted. i apologize for trying to drown out your cries for belt attention by blasting crappy mainstream rap music. i apologize for not taking the time to clean you out once this semester- not once! i apologize for the expanding crack in your windshield that i have no intentions to rememedy. i apologize for driving fast and furious and straining your old, tender insides.and most importantly, mr.car, i apologize for crashing you into another unsuspecting car yesterday. thank-you for continuing to run and i hope someday we will be able to open the driver-side door again, that would be nice. someone please revoke my liscence before i hurt more innocent cars. it just isn't fair to the automobile world.
sincerely and with deep regret,
aubrey

dear mr. car-
i would also like to apologize to the shoddy treatment you have received from me. i know that you are not my car so i technically have no responsibility for you, but you were my best friends car and my friend. i owe you an apology for encouraging the loud crappy rap music that drowned out your cries for help. and for patting you on the dashboard every time i heard your pleas for attention instead of getting you the attention you need. lastly, mr. car, i would like to thank you for all the times you drove me to class early in the morning or all the times you drove us to tuesday sushi. you truly are a wonderful car. my deepest apologies,
trisha
